A new partnership with Prep Sportswear - coming next week
We recently partnered with Prep Sportswear to give you the ability to customize and sell your own apparel on your Website. It will be available for FREE - No minimum order - Bulk order discounts available.
Look for the Sportswear link in your Site Admin admin to customize your apparel.
Please note that the new feature will be automatically turned on. You will see a link for "Sportswear" on your menu. If you do not want to participate, no problem. You can close it at anytime within the Pages section of your Access folder.

I'm an admin for a youth football site. This feature seems pretty cool, but does our club get any of the proceeds from the sale of the items in the new store? We're a non-profit and do sell our own items. Our club's board will make a decision whether or not to keep this feature turned on, but we'd like to know how our club can benefit from the feature.

As with the other comments, how will my league benefit from this. We too sell our our merchandise. This seems like a good idea but will anything be returned to the local leagues. We are turning off the feature until there is more information.

Is there an answer to these questions, we are turning this off as well until there is more information.

I think this is a "feature" you should leave up to your clients to turn on or not. As with most businesses we prefer to control our own branding. We sell our own spiritwear for profit but also to put across our image the way we want it presented to the public. In this case you've used our name incorrectly; we're Kent Crusaders Rugby Football Club not Covington Kent Crusaders Rugby Football Club. You've used fonts that we do not use so this gear does not look like us at all.
Most definitely any club that participates in this should get a large % of the profit, I see no mention of that.
We'll be contacting prepsportswear to get our club taken off.

Horible business practice automatically opting customers in. This directly competes with our fundraising intiatives. I missed the communication and learned of it from our board. I turned it off immediately. I'm not a big fan of a 3rd party making money from our club especially through what I consider an unauthorized site update!
